This album really means a lot to me. Growing up in Detroit J Dilla was always a symbol of inspiration and almost at a level not to be touched. I have grown up my whole life never stepping to a Dilla beat because it was almost unheard of. But times changed our time especially due to all the police shooting of black people that made me want to speak out about injustice. J Dilla became the perfect backdrop for those words i needed to get off my chest. I wanted to give this a proper release but due to red tape im just going to put it out there for people to enjoy. Never give up hope and Never forget J Dilla. Its sort of a cleanse im getting my old work out the way as i get ready to release new music coming soon but til then i present you with Day Old Donuts.
